We are pleased to announce that Dr Henry Seddon will be joining Balance Street Practice on the 1st April 2018. If you have received a letter as of the 1st April 2018 you will be registered with Dr Seddon.


Dr Trewin and Dr Burton are reducing to Part-time as a job share. Dr Seddon will be looking after half of each of their lists. He is an experienced GP and well known to the Partners and we are looking forward to him joining the team.

Cardiac Rehabilitation Service

Our Cardiac Rehabilitation Service is offered through close work with Queen's Hospital in Burton.

Patients who have had heart attacks or heart surgery will now be able to have their rehabilitation at the surgery. Cardiac Rehabilitation takes place in our well equiped Gym, on the lower ground floor.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is a programme of exercise and education. It aims to help people with long-term breathing problems caused by changes in the structure of the lungs. The programme is a six week course of exercise and education which takes place in the Health Centre Gym, located on the lower ground floor. You will be required to attend twice a week.

NHS Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm (AAA) Screening

This screening programme will invite all men for screening in the year that they turn 65. All men over 65 can self-refer for screening. Screening will take place every alternate week at Balance Street Health Centre. To find out more go to aaa.screening.nhs.uk

Non Obstetric Ultrasound. This service is being offered at Balance Street Health Centre by other providers. Referral by GP only.

SSSFT Memory Clinic

The memory clinic provides assessment of people of any age with memory problems. The service provides pre and post diagnostic counselling and gives advice and support to patients and their families.
